After a busy fall and hours of preparation for their art show, a generous friend of Cornerstone Ranch gave the Cornerstone residents an all-expenses-paid, week-long trip to Maine! On Monday, September 24, the six residents, house parents, and kids loaded into the van and drove off to DFW airport.

The chilly Maine weather was a wonderful break from the brutal Texas heat. The vacationers spent the week outdoors, bundled in coats and hats, in Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, and visiting the local scenic trails. Each and every day brought new adventures and gave the residents opportunities to experience the joys of living life to its fullest.

And, to cap off a wonderful week, a series of unfortunate events allowed the residents to have an extra day in Boston on their way home. They guys stopped to take a tour of Fenway Park while the ladies enjoyed snooping around downtown Boston.

Cornerstone Ranch is grateful for the generosity of its supporters, especially those who go above and beyond to help us give our residents experiences they would never be able to afford themselves. Thank you for your faithfulness to help us accomplish our vision of enabling adults with special needs to live an abundant life.
