Sunflower Harvest

The last week we had our hands full harvesting our sunflower crop. This project has been a blast every step of the way. Tilling, planting, watering, cutting and delivering have kept us busy all summer. The best part is having different friends from the community help us with our project and of course seeing the smiles on the faces when we deliver the sunflowers. We have two different stores that are selling our flowers! While working with the flowers we have been reminded of God’s faithfulness and promise to take care of us in Matthew 6:28-30: “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?”
